Katie is a Brooklyn-based writer obsessed with writing about sisters, secrets and shame. She holds an MFA in creative writing from The New School. Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best Small Fictions, was on the 2022 Wigleaf Top 50 longlist and has received support from Sirenland Writers Conference, Tin House Summer Workshop and Aspen Summer Words. She works in media brand partnerships and lives with her dog, Eliza Hamilton.

She is working on a novel that explores the consequences of childhood actions and the cost of suppression in the aftermath of a secret kept for nearly 30 years.
